The Sensory Room is a therapeutic environment designed to stimulate cognitive and percep-tual-motor skills of elderly people. The environment is used to reduce isolation by promoting social interaction and communication exchanges. The space is a 4X4X3 meter booth painted in a neutral shade and equipped with light technology composed of modular components controlled by a PC unit. Light can be static or dynamic with a selection of 16 millions of colours and fading effects. The lighting system can be used on its own or can be connected to interactive tools, the Rolling Pins and the Light&Sound Cylinders, to tailor the session to different therapeutic objectives.
